Sara Nory

The radiant Sara Nory is a work of art herself. She’s one of those women that just seems to float from one magical experience to the next - generally on a beach somewhere. I came across her work in the middle of Covid19, while trapped in a snow storm in the middle of summer (thank you Wyoming). Her inviting warmth in Mexico City pulled me in to experience daily chanting she was holding over IG Live where I too could experience meditating in sunshine with roosters in the background. Sara is multifaceted. Born in Iran and raised in Sweden, she is fluent in adapting to wherever in the world she happens to be. After working in the fast paced fashion industry in NYC she ditched the matrix in search of freedom. And freedom she did find. She doesn’t call any one place home but rather is a glider of the galaxy. Sara hosts a variety of experiences both at retreats and online. Depending on what the collective is going through, she holds space to drop deeper into your mind, body and spirit. She uses calming visualizations and breath to take you on a journey into your inner landscape before releasing you to an actual canvas to express your cosmic discoveries. Once in this flow state the process is done using colored pens and paper. Sara is a self taught artist. Through years of meditation, alternative medicine and yoga she found that her creativity needed a bigger outlet. Her art was born. She started a project called #masprints where she channels guides, and delivers the messages she receives into one-line drawings, an expression of the unity of our planet. When she’s not chanting on her harmonium in the mountains of Tepoztlan you can catch her doing one of these large scale drawings somewhere stunning in the world. — by Emilie Talermo
